| In customer Contact Centers the agents are usually so busy
remembering and handling the daily routines that up and cross sales
rarely happens. When active sales activities are conducted it is either
as a manual procedure or aided via a sales system.
However the challenge is often that for a sales system shall be effective,
it needs to be constantly updated with new products, new procedures
and rules all taking into account which products sell best and which are
the most profitable to sell for the company.
We believe that in order to close a sale in a customer contact center the
offer must be relevant and thus based on customer characteristics and
direct input. Therefore we have developed the “Interactive Sales
Advisor”
The Interactive Sales Advisor is based on an advanced business
rules engine, where business specialists can change and optimize the
individual rules via an advanced but easy to use web service, the
Business Rules Editor. Here a user friendly web-interface allows non-IT
staff to add and edit business procedures (or sales recommendations) –
this leads to shorter time to market, lower cost and higher quality. The
result -the recommendation - is presented in a web-interface which can
run on the intranet.
